Torticollis

Torticollis causes pain that can radiate to the head and shoulders and incapacitates the head from moving and turning. The cause is unknown many times, although frequently is due to the irritation of the cervical nerves that cause muscle spasms. This irritation can be due by: strong movements of the neck, whiplash, sleeping in a bad posture, traumatic birth, etc.
