Scoliosis

A SIDEWAYS CURVATURE OF THE SPINE

Scoliosis

Scoliosis is a lateral and rotational misalignment of the spine of more than 10º as seen on x-rays. It must not be confused with bad posture.
In most of the cases the cause is unknown.
The spine when misaligns causes head, shoulders and hip tilt and apparent leg length inequality.
